El Manzano is situated inside the great mountain range called Sierra Madre Oriental in the north east territory of Mexico, besides the metropolitan city of Monterrey. It is mainly known to sheath a vast diversity of endemic flora and fauna as well as a great number of waterfalls and captivating landscapes.

The project main idea consist of “jumping” a small dry glen that when on rainy days, water flow makes its stream break loose. The project also tries to gain all possible landscape views to its maximum for a better experience to their users.

It was sought to design a social area (living room mixed with a bar, breakfast and dining table) in the same area, all as open common space. An area big enough for each of the places to share the same sight of landscape, in order to take advantage of every area as possible without moving within places.
